The Troy Redfern Band Troy is a passionate, intense, free spirited indie blues artist whose ferocious slide guitar style twists and turns timeless themes and ideas to his own ends. A guitarist for whom tone, feel and grooves are his working tools, while his songs range from a scream to a whisper, supported by equally superb fellow musicians.   Ponchartrain PONCHARTRAIN'S music is described as ‘vintage Americana’ – "It's a honky-tonk, rockabilly, Cajun, bluesy kind of thing. The vibe is very 40s and 50s, I love stuff by amazing writers like Little Jimmy Dickens, Leadbelly, Wiley Barkdull and Bessie Smith, so we draw on some great songs, but play them with our own spirit and sound. There is a big resurgence of interest in this music at the moment, which is great to see!” Frontman Paul Godden' s been the mainstay of numerous bands since then. In addition to radio and TV work, he has backed and supported the likes of Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Patsy Montana, Doctor Ross, Champion Jack Dupree, Jo-Anne Kelly, Flaco Jimminez and numerous 50s rockabilly legends as steel guitar player with Cardiff band The Rimshots. The KoGo Project Keyboard/vocalist and award-winning songwriter Kate Ockenden, and her husband, versatile 6-string bassist Geoff Ockenden, have a proven track record of entertaining audiences together with many different artists including The Real Thing, Chaka Khan, Womack & Womack, The Average White Band, and as full-time rhythm section players for BGT Finalist Julian Smith. In 2014, they began writing original high-energy material in a jazz-funk style, inspired heavily by the music of Swedish jazz-fusion band Dirty Loops. The third song penned in this style, ‘A Rainbow’, received high praise from Grammy-Award winning blue-eyed soul artist Michael McDonald, whilst other songs from The KoGo Project’s debut album, ‘   Afternoon in Paris Fronted by an unusual combination of clarinet, bass clarinet and vocals in several European languages, the unique, eclectic and widely appealing sound of Afternoon in Paris  is delivered with a heartfelt and irresistible joie de vivre that will transport you through the smokey jazz clubs of 1930s Paris and Hamburg to the grand cafés of Europe and South America. Bring your dancing shoes, there’s space on the floor or just sit back and enjoy an exhilarating evening of fabulous music.
